# xignature
**PT DTA**, or **PT Digital Trust Authority**, is an Indonesian Certificate Authority (CA) that provides digital certificates and related services to ensure secure electronic transactions and compliance with Indonesian regulations. It is part of the public key infrastructure (PKI) ecosystem, offering signing services. **Xignature** is part of PT Digital Trust Authority (DTA). It is a product or service offered by PT DTA that specializes in secure and compliant electronic signature solutions. Xignature leverages PT DTA's expertise in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) to provide trusted digital signing services.
**Step 1:** Open the document that is to be signed and Click on the Signature placeholder. This will open the "Generate Signature Settings" pop-up.
**Step 2:** From the drop-down select the option "xignature". Click on "Apply and Preview" button.
**Step 3:** Click on the Sign and Send to proceed with the signing.
**Step 4:** The Signatory has to enter the 16 digit NIK and proceed with the DTA Authentiation and signing.
**Step 5:** Once the identification number is provided the Signing will be completed.
