Encrypt
How can a user encrypt a document in emSigner?
Step 1: Log in to the emSigner account using your Admin User Name and Password

Enter the password to login into the account.

Step 2: Click on the Settings tab present at the top.

Step 3: Under Settings click on the ‘Encrypt‘ option.

Step 4: You will be navigated to Encrypt Files and Documents page, where you will have an option to select file or folder. Click ‘Select File/ Select Folder‘ to locate the source file or folder to be encrypted and then click ‘Open‘. (Note: There will be a radio button to select “Single/ Multiple”. If you select Single, you will be able to load a file. If you select Multiple, you will be able to load more than one file within a folder.)

Step 5: Click ‘Select File‘ to locate the destination folder to save the encrypted file

Step 6: Click ‘Select Certificate‘ to locate the certificate and then click “open”. This is to select the certificate through which you want to encrypt the document.

Step 7: Now click on the ‘Encrypt Now‘ button and you will be able to encrypt the document.
