Below are the steps for the users to upload a document and initiate an envelope for signing.
Step 1: Log in to the emSigner account using your Admin User Name and Password.
Enter the password to login into the account.
Step 3: Click on “Create an Envelope” from the left side panel.
Step 4: Click "+Upload" to upload the documents that needs to be sent to the Signatories for signing.
Step 5: The uploaded document can be seen in this screen. Any uploaded document can be viewed/deleted by using the eye and the bin icons against that document. The Storyboard can be viewed by clickin on 'Storyboard'.
Step 6: The signatories can be configured in this page. If a new external user needs to be added then the initiator has to click on '+Add New External User'.
Step 7: Once the details are added, Click on 'Add' which will save the external user
Step 8: Once all the signatories are added, click on 'Next' to navigate to the document preview page. The type of workflow can be defined by toggling on Serial, Parallel. The Workflow sequence, Signature Mode, Enable 2FA and any type of Additional Validation can be defined by the initiator.
If the documents need to be modified, then the user has to click on 'Upload Documents' and if the initiator wants to proceed then click on 'Next'.
Step 9: Drag and drop the different form fields from the left panel.
Step 10: Select the second signatory from the dropdown and drag and drop the relevant fields on to the document.
Step 11: Once all the relevant placholders are dragged and dropped on to the document, click on 'Next'. If any signatory needs to be modified click on 'Modify Signatory'.
Step 12: Provide the other relevant details like the Envelope Name, Envelope Number and attach the supporting documents if any. Once the envelope is ready, click on 'Next' to initiate the envelope.
Step 13: The success page is shown to the initiator indicating that the document is sent to the signatory for their signing.
