What is Dynamic Signing and how to enable the same in Template?

Dynamic signing is a concept related to electronic signatures and document Templates, where the signing process is flexible and adaptable to various conditions and requirements. It enables organizations to create customizable signing experiences that can change based on specific criteria or events.

Dynamic signing allows for adaptive template that can automatically route documents to different signatories or require additional approvals based on the document's content or the signatories involved. This ensures that the signing process is efficient and tailored to individual needs.

NOTE: Signatory granted with “Allow to add exceptional user and define access controls” permission can only add dynamic reviewer/signatory on the fly when the document is pending in the dashboard for signing.

Initiating the document for signing through Flexi Form has 2 steps. 1. Design a Flexi Form Setting Up the "Dynamic Signatory" 2. Initiate a Flexi Form 3. Dynamic User Signing Flow

Design a Flexi Form

Step 1: Navigate to “Manage Templates” under 'Admin Settings'.

Step 2: Now click on the Create New Template” button on the top right of your Template space, enter a Template name and click “Save” to create a new Template.

On successful creation, you will get the pop-up stating "Template Successfully Created"

Once created, click on “Setup Template/flexiform” icon to open the template and make necessary changes.

Step 3: Click on the “Upload” button to upload the document template (Note: You can upload one or more document templates)

Step 4: In this step, you will be able to view the uploaded document template and you will see options on your right-hand side panel to specify no. of. Signatories and their positions on the document.

Go to "Fields and Components" and set it up according to your requirements.

Step 5: Select the "Setting" option for the respective signatory for whom the Dynamic Signing option has to be provided.

You have to enable the “Allow to add exceptional user and define access controls” option to the respective user and click on Apply.

Once this step is completed click on “Activate“.

Step 6: Upon completing all the above steps, your template will be created and activated successfully.

Initiate a Flexi Form

The activated templates will be available in the dashboard left side panel.

Step 1: Click on the Flexiform template that has been created.

Step 2: Created template will be available to initiate for signing. You will also have an option to modify the signatory based on your requirement.

Step 3: If you are a first Signatory, please sign and initiate a document for Signing.

Dynamic User Signing Flow

Once document is initiated to the user, the email will be initiated to the respective email ID's from emSigner portal only for the specific signing activity.

Step 1: You have to click on "Preview & Sign" option to proceed for signing activity. Your document will be populated in the browser directly for signing.

Step 2: You have to click on the 'Next' option to navigate to the other signature panel located in the document.

Since the current user is a Dynamic Signatory, the user will have an option to add more Signatories to the document before performing the signing.

Click on "Add Signatories" to create a new signatories/reviewers to the document and choose the signature position for the respective signatory in the document.

NOTE: Once the signatories are added, the current user can perform signing.

Step 3: For signing, you have to click on the signature panel.

Step 4: Upon selecting signature panel, you will get the option to select the signature based on your requirement and complete signing. After selecting the signature, select the check box and click on "Apply and Preview".

Step 5: You can now preview the signed document in the browser. To complete signing, click on "Sign&Finish" option.

You will receive a confirmation for the signing and the signed document will be sent to all the Signatories in the template through their email.
