# FTP Settings

File Transfer Protocol (FTP) Settings in emSigner allows you to configure FTP credentials to fetch documents in bulk from an external source in a secured way.

**Step 1:** Login to emSigner Super Admin account. Click on ‘Settings’ tab to open the Admin Settings. Click on ‘***FTP Settings***’ below Admin Settings

**Step 2**: You will now be able to view the FTP settings page, click on the “***Create New***” button.

You can configure your FTP credentials here,\
\&#xNAN;*Profile Name*: You can enter any alphanumeric character in the text box

&#x20;               *FTP URL*: You can enter the FTP URL in the text box

&#x20;               *FTP User Name*:  You can enter the user name in the text box

&#x20;               *FTP Password*:  You can enter the password in the text box

Once completed, click on the Test connection or ADD button to create.

**Step 3**: The configured fields will be listed and can be edited using the edit icon under the Actions column. You can also delete the created fields using the *delete* icon.

Note: Profiles that are created using FTP settings will be used in Flexi from templates. <br>
