In the emSigner application previously, users had to choose either serial or parallel workflows exclusively. With this Hybrid Signing the initiator can choose the type of flow for every signatory in the workflow. This provides increased flexibility in managing complex document approval scenarios.
Step 1: Log in to the emSigner account using your Admin User Name and Password
Enter the password to login into the account.
Step 2: Click on “Create an Envelope” from the left side panel.
You will be navigated to the screen where you can upload one or more documents for signing. Click “+ Upload” and start uploading documents. The email details of the Signatories can be added and then the document preview is shown to the initiator.
Step 3: If the initiator wish to change the sigantory to a parallel signer from a serial signer, then they should click on the 'S' icon to toggle the signatory to a Parallel Signer.
Step 4: It can be observed that the 'S' will change into 'P' indicating that the user is a Parallel Signer.
Step 5: There should be atleast two consecutive signatories who should be in Parallel in a workflow. The emSigner application will display a popup if this is not followed.
Step 6: The envelope can be initiated by click on 'Send'.
Step 7: The Signing order diagram shows the Serial and Parallel Signatories as below. The Parallel Signatory will have a an icon indicating that the signatory is a Parallel Signer.
