Signature Configuration & Authentication

Manage participants, signature types, and authentication methods from the Right Pane.

The Right Pane provides tools for managing participants, defining signing sequence, and configuring signature and authentication rules.

Participant management

  • Workflow type – Review or change the flow (Serial, Parallel, In-Person).

  • Participant list – Reorder, modify roles, or remove participants.

  • Add participants – Use Add New for ad-hoc users or Add Existing for registered users.

  • Quick actions – Edit participant details, change email, reset signatory settings, or enable automated signing (for internal users).

  • Signing sequence indicator – Displays whether a participant signs in sequence (Serial) or simultaneously (Parallel).

Signature types

  • eSignature – Quick signing, no identity verification.

  • Digital Signature (DSC) – Requires a valid certificate; ensures identity verification and tamper-evidence.

  • Aadhaar Signature – Aadhaar-based authentication and demographic validation.

  • Global Signature – Internationally recognized with identity verification. Administrators can restrict or allow multiple types based on compliance requirements.

Authentication and verification

  • OTP verification (for external user) – One-time password sent to email or mobile for external participants.

  • Liveliness check (for external user) – Records a short video during signing for identity confirmation.

  • Demographic match (for external user) – Aadhaar details (name, gender, year of birth, last 4 digits, state, PIN) matched against Aadhaar records. Admins may permit partial matches.

  • Delegation – Signers can delegate signing to an authorized user if permitted.
