Document Setup & Dynamic Fields
Configure your documents by managing files, adding attachments, and placing dynamic fields for signers.
Left Pane – Document Tools
Your control center for preparing documents before sending the envelope.
Manage Documents
Add – Upload up to 10 signable documents (PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX). The combined size of all signable documents must not exceed 20 MB.
Attach – Add reference-only supporting files (PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, CSV, ZIP). Attachments are not signed; they are only shared for reference.
Merge – Combine an uploaded file with another document by placing it at the beginning or end.
Remove – Delete files from the envelope.
Password-protected or encrypted files are not supported.
e-Stamps (India only) Insert legally valid e-stamps (online or offline). More details are available in the regional e-stamp section.

Dynamic Fields Drag and drop fields onto the document to capture signer details and inputs.
Field types include:
Identity fields: Name, Department, Designation, Mobile, Email, ID Number
Input fields: Textbox (free text), Checkbox (yes/no or multiple), Radio Button (single choice)
Approval fields: Initials, Photo, Stamp
Verification fields: QR Code (supports Hybrid QR for offline/online scanning), QR Disclaimer
Field Properties Most fields can be customized with the following options:
Assigned To – Link field to a signer
Mandatory – Require completion before proceeding
Placeholder / Caption – Provide guiding text or labels
Font Settings – Style, size, alignment, and color
Tag Name – Unique identifier for Excel/CSV mapping
Tab Index – Define the order for keyboard navigation
Max Length / Multiline – Control input length and format
Tooltip – Add helper text on hover
Validation – Enforce rules such as email or number format
Group Name – Organize Checkbox and Radio Button sets
Pixel Positioning – Precisely place fields such as Initials, Photo, and Stamp
QR Options – Choose details to encode and enable Hybrid QR mode
