Signing a document
The emSigner mobile app allows users to review and sign documents securely from anywhere. The signing experience is optimized for quick actions, clear visibility of pending tasks, and guided completion of required fields.
Overview
When a document requires your signature, it appears prominently in the app so you can take action without navigating through multiple screens. The app guides you step by step—from identifying pending documents to applying a legally valid signature and completing the signing flow.

Step 1: Identify Documents Requiring Your Signature
Upon logging in, the Home screen highlights documents that need your attention.
The “Need your signature” section displays the most recent document awaiting your action.
Each card shows:
Document name
Initiator
Date and time of initiation
If multiple documents are pending, select See All to view the complete list of documents awaiting your signature.
This ensures that the most urgent or recent signing requests are always visible first.
Step 2: Open the Document for Signing
Tap on a document from the Need your signature list to open it.
The document opens in a secure viewer.
Signature and other required fields are clearly highlighted.
Navigation controls allow you to:
Move between pages
Jump directly to required fields
Zoom in or out for better readability

Before signing, you can thoroughly review the document content.

A live preview shows how the signature will appear on the document before final application.
