# Accessing Templates

#### Templates

The Templates section displays a list of pre-configured templates that are available to you.

Key points to note:

* Template availability is controlled by the administrator and may be assigned based on your user account, role, or department.
* As an initiator, you can use only the templates you have access to and initiate documents from them.

Using a template allows you to:

* Start a document with predefined structure
* Use pre-configured signers, signing order, and fields without manual setup
* Save time and ensure consistency in the signing process

If you do not see a required template or need access to an additional template, you must contact your administrator to request access or configuration.
