# Signatory M of N ### Signatory M-of-N (Template Configuration) The Signatory M-of-N feature allows templates to be configured with flexible signing rules, where M out of N signatories are required to complete the workflow. This enables complex approval scenarios while allowing actual signatories to be assigned dynamically during document initiation. ### Enabling Signatory M-of-N in a Template Enable M-out-of-N signatories (Template Initiation) from the Signature Settings section under Advanced Settings. Initiate a template that is configured by the Administrator with multiple signatories. In the example below, the template is configured with 4 signatories by the administrator and assigned to document initiator. Document initiator assign a number of signatories that is less than the total number configured by the Administrator. In the example below, 2 signatories are assigned. Initiate the template by clicking on Send.
