How do I Setup Flexiform Template using workflow?

Note: Only Admin users will have the privilege to setup workflow template

Step 1: Login to www.emsigner.com using your Admin User Name and Password

Step 2: On top right corner, your profile image will be present.  On clicking the same, “Settings” menu will be displayed

Step 3: Click “Settings” menu. You will find “Manage Workflow” option. Click the same

Create a new workflow:

Step 4: You will find “Create New Workflow” button on top right of your workflow space. Click the same and enter workflow name and click “Save” to create a new workflow

Step 5: Once the workflow is created, you will see “Setup FlexiForm” button on the bottom right to upload the document template. Click the same (Note: Flexiform allows you to bring dynamic form fields into the form for signers to fill before they sign.)

Upload Document Templates:

Step 6: Click “Upload Documents” button to upload the document template

Step 7: You can view the uploaded document template on the screen.

  • On the left hand side, you will see some pre-defined list of form fields
  • On the right hand side, you will see, 
    • Define External Source section – you will see the following fields
      • “Pull document/ template from an external source” checkbox (you need to select the checkbox if you want the documents to be fetched from external folders)
      • “Select FTP Source” dropdown (you will see the profiles that were created in FTP settings. You need to select profiles from the dropdown)
      • “Enter File Pattern” text field (You need to define the file naming convention here)
        • For eg., the file pattern name is Firstname_Lastname, here the prerequisite will be that while initiating the workflow through excel upload, the excel should contain the Firstname and Lastname columns. In these column, values should be present (eg., John and Doe respectively). While fetching the file, system will check for John_Doe.pdf from FTP folder​
    • Add Signatories option

Step 8: Click “Add Signatory” button to add the signatories

Step 9: You can drag and drop form fields into the document template. On hover-over of dragged field, you will find configure icon. Click on the same

Step 10:  A “Form Field” popup window will open up to perform additional settings. Once the settings are defined, click “Apply” button.

Activate Flexiform:

        Step 11: Once the above steps are completed, click “Activate Flexiform” button. You will see a message popup on successful completion.
