How do I Install emSigner Utility in Windows?

The emSigner application can help you digitally sign documents (Token based signing). If you do not have the emSigner application, you can download the same by clicking the “Install Now” button.

You are requested to download and install the emSigner application to digitally sign documents.

To set up installation of the emSigner application, follow the below steps:

Step 1: Click on the “Install Now” button.  A pop up window will appear where you will have to select “Download Application”

Step 2: A Zip file will be downloaded; extract the saved zip file and double click the emSigner icon. Below pop up window will open, you will then have to click on Run

Step 3: Click on Next

Step 4: By default it will show the path of installation. In case you want to install to a different folder, enter the path or browse the path as shown below. Click on Next

Step 5: Click “Install” to begin the installation

Step 6: Once you click on Install, a pop up window will open stating the below message.

“Do you want to allow the following program to install software on this computer?”

Click on YES

Step 7: The emSigner utility will start installing

Step 8: Installing emSigner

Step 9: Once the installation is done, click on Finish. emSigner is now ready to use

Step 10: Double click the icon. This opens the emSigner utility successfully. You can now check updates, logs and also change the port.

To check emSigner updates:

Select the Update tab. You can update the utility by clicking on the update button.
