Certificate Settings allows you to configure signing certificate credentials so that the certificate that is hosted in the external server can be fetched and used to counter sign the document.

Step 1: Login to www.emsigner.com  using your Admin User Name and Password

Step 2: On the top right corner, click on your profile image and then click on the Settings menu

Step 3:  Click on ‘Certificate Settings‘ option under Admin settings

Step 4: You need to configure the following fields to enable certificate settings

  • Certificate Serial Number – select “Certificate Serial Number” value from the dropdown and enter the certificate number in the text box
  • Certificate Password – select “Certificate Password” value from the dropdown and enter the secret password of the certificate
  • Signing API URL – select the “Signing API URL” value from the dropdown and enter the URL from where the certificate need to be fetched
  • Enable API based Signing

Step 5: Configured fields will be listed and can be edited using the edit icon under the Actions column. You can also delete the created fields by clicking on the delete icon.

Once the above configurations are performed by the administrator, while performing electronic signatures, certificate that is hosted in the external server will be fetched and used to counter sign the document.
